Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a network architecture that can rapidly deployed without relying on pre-existing fixed network infrastructure. An ad-hoc routing protocol is a standard that controls how nodes come to agree which way to route packet between computing devices in MANET. Various routing protocols are available for MANET. This project is a continuation of the previous project. The previous student has done a performance comparison between DSR, AODV and DYMO using NS-2. This project requires student to study the latest algorithms such as MDYMO and AOMDV. Based on the study, student is required to implement the algorithms using NS-2 and do a performance comparison. Student attempting this project must be well verse in programming and willing to spend considerable hours in the laboratory.
